    At a recent estate clear out I found these two older (perhaps 1950s era?) Japanese Bento boxes that open up tp store trinkets and are each about 5 x 5 inches.  They have lacquer painted desgins and are hand painted and have string tassels on their heads.  The interiors are painted black and there are a few dots of where paint may have been bumped.  These are still in nice condition and might be items to add to your collection. Some of the pictures are a bit yellow or feded as I had the wrong settings on my camera but I have added more correct color photos taken from my cell phone.
    DESCRIPTION
    In Western Pa, near the mountains there are many generational homes with tons of vintage & antique items along with baby-boomer items. I find items from Mid-Century Modern to  great old primitives.  I usually do not do any restoration of fixing and offer these items as found. Let me know if looking for anything particular
