    Description

    Antique Linemans Pole Climbing Spike ~STEPHEN'S CLIMBER W.H.Buckingham c. 1910's. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.  In 1896, Wilmot Stephens founded The Stephens Co in Binghanton, NY.  The Stephens Climbers were handcrafted in his blacksmith shop. In 1913  WH Buckingham purchased the Stephens Company and changed the name to what is now known as Buckingham Mfg Co.  BELL SYSTEMS put their stamp on item at unknown time in history. This one is 16" long. Leather and hardware is similar to that used in horse harnesses and collars.  Leather is soft but  badly aged abd cracked.
