    Description

    This is another beloved long-time possession that I need to sell as I downsize. I bought this Duquesne Beer clock in an antique store on the South Side of Pittsburgh (just a few blocks from the former Duquesne Brewery) around 1989. The marking on the back side of the clock says "54-52", and either of those years would be absolutely right in terms of the time line of Duquesne's advertising, which in the early '50s featured a handsome young lad known as The Prince of Pilsener. The clock works well (you can see the second hand moving from picture 1 to picture 2), and it lights up with two 15-watt bulbs. As I don't want to risk any shattering during shipment, I've taken the bulbs out. I'll ship it well packed via FedEx Ground for .00. And yes, I'm hoping it goes back to the Pittsburgh area.
