Description

This is an interesting script from "The Sealtest Show" radio program starring Rudy Vallee
The cover letter speaks for itself: Joan Davis was a regular guest on Vallee's Sealtest Show, this looks like the draft for a radio program that was not completed & broadcast due to Rudy Vallee leaving the Sealtest Show in 1943 to join The Coast Guard during World War Two.  After Vallee left, Joan Davis & Jack Haley teamed up to form "The Sealtest Village Store" radio program
The theme of the program was "The Life And Loves Of Rudy Vallee As Imagined by Joan Davis" - very funny!
The cover letter is dated November 6, 1945, however on the last page of the script states "copyright 1943"
THE FIRST PAGE OF THE SCRIPT IS SIGNED BY JOAN DAVIS
THIS SCRIPT AND COVER LETTER CAME DIRECTLY FROM THE ESTATE OF RUDY VALLEE
SCRIPT IS 18 PAGES AND COMPLETE.
THIS SCRIPT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  THE ONLY DEFECT IS SOME WRINKLES ON THE LAST PAGE, OTHERWISE THIS SCRIPT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  THIS SCRIPT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! PAGES ARE NOT BRITTLE AND CAN BE HANDLED WITHOUT RISK OF DAMAGE. THIS SCRIPT HAS BEEN STORED IN A ARCHIVAL PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR YEARS, TRULY A FINE SPECIMEN!
