Opalized Belemnite Opal Cretaceous Australia Coober Pedy fossil blue precious

Description

An incredible blue opalized belemnite from Coober Pedy! I don't know much about fossils, but it looks as though the genus is Peratobelus and it is Cretaceous in age. This specimen has been lightly polished to show color. It is in remarkable condition with only a minor fracture noticeable in the photos. There is even a small hole structure preserved as seen in the photos! Comes mounted in a display box!
I loved having this in my collection, but I'm looking to sell the items that don't quite fit my collection goals. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have!
