    Description

    Dear friends, I present to your attention a very rare item found this year in Ukraine
    Command tower Pzkpfw-III Ausf. M Second Panzer Division 2 "DR"
    Found at the site of a tank killed during the Battle of Kiev.
    This vehicle was a participant in the Battle of Kursk, as evidenced by the tactical sign "Citadel" on the stern armor found there.
    Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.M, produced in 1942 at the MNH plant. It was shot down in July 1943 during the Battle of Kursk, rebuilt and sent to Ukraine along with a division of the Reich to repel the blow of the Red Army
    .
    In the same place, the tank was killed in a raid by Soviet assault aircraft, presumably on October 12-20, 1943.
    Had several tactical numbers on the tower, the last number 423
    .
    Chassis and turret numbers Fahrgestell Nr. 75045 Turm Nr. 74014 Number 74014 is duplicated with paint on the commander's cupola hatches
