    Description

Rarity Carl Zeiss Jena Asiola telescop / monocular:  circa 1930.
This monocular is an absolute rarity and thus clearly a piece worth collecting.
The high-magnification Asiola monocular, like military equipment, is specifically designed for shooting range and field surveillance.
This black Asiola, produced in the very first series, differs in many details from those produced after World War II.
    (e.g.:  eyepiece tube).
Its optical condition is good, its image is clear and contrasting.
Although Porro II. the edge of one of the prisms in the system is slightly damaged, but this has no effect on imaging.
Flawless (air gap, achromat) 60 mm diameter lens has a focal length of 420 mm,
and the focal length of the scratch-free (orthoscopic) eyepiece is 10 mm.
    So 42 times the magnification.
It can be armed from infinity to a small distance.
Its aesthetic condition is particularly good compared to its age.
Can be mounted on a stand.
