WW II German Air Force Kinotheodolit-Fernrohr - MONOCULAR - V-1 ROCKETS - RARE!

You are bidding on a RARE example of WW2 German Heer / Luftwaffe 10x60 "Fernrohrlage I" Mo
nocular, as ONLY used on the
Kinotheodolit-Fernrohr!  This optical device was used to track and guide defensive fire...SPECIFICLLY, the V-1 and V-2 Rockets!
To support the anti-aircraft batteries of the Heer, Luftwaffe, and Kriegsmarine, there were various optical devices, which at the time of their use had a level of development that was unmatched worldwide.
Depending on their size and complexity, they were equipped with a Kinotheodolit-Fernrohr, which made it possible to conduct guided defensive fire of the highest precision.
These larger optical systems tracked, photographed, and measured ballistic paths and velocities of missiles (V1/V2) after they were launched to make adjustments and necessary changes to the launch angles for the next firing.  This optic scope is one of the two side-mounted directing telescopes, functioning much like the director telescopes seen on the large Kdo and EM 4 m R 36 (H) and 40s.
Made by Askania Werke AG, the 10x60 monocular with a 90° angled view, was one of two that were attached to both sides of such the
Kinotheodolit-Fernrohr.  Used to track aircraft and rockets, it features var
ious filters, which were adjusted in with a wheel knob (the normal centered position is marked "clear").  It is inscribed, "Fernrohrlage I" ("Position I")., which denoted the side in which it was mounted.  This is a very interesting example that I have not seen before, as it features an adjustment to change the reticle to a grid pattern or aiming pattern.  Sadly, this was taken apart by someone, and as such is missing screws.  Optics have some chips.   I suspect this is probably only good for parts or for restoration, so selling this AS-IS.
