Description

WWII German Army Wehrmacht Dienstglas Binoculars.  Stamps include:  "Busch Rathenow" on the left, and "Dienstglas 6x30 Nr. 211518 M H/6400" on the right.  There is a matching serial number on the bracket showing the number "211518".
Nice overall condition expected of field used binoculars.  There are a
reas of wear on the metal as seen in photos.
Both oculars independently focus.  The lenses look ok to my untrained eye but should be considered slightly cloudy for purists.  There are no varicose vein looking areas of separation on the lenses.  There is a grid site in the right lens.
This is a nice useable historic piece.

The item offered for sale is from my father's personal collection of over 50 years which began in the late 1960's through his recent passing.  Back then,
items were readily available directly from Veterans.
We put WWII wanted signs up everywhere.  Later when my interests were more of an adolescent nature, I was no longer involved in his collection which continued to obsessively grow.  Since the 1980's, I only had a limited knowledge of his collection activities other than particularly neat items that he found which we talked about on the phone.  His collection grew from trading, flea markets, Veteran's families, and later the internet.  I never had the vast knowledge of militaria that my father did.  So, mistakes on my part will be made when describing items.  I have described this item to the best of my ability but I am not an expert.
