WWII German Gas Mask & Canister complete with straps

Description

100% original WWII German Gas Mask & Canister. This gas mask is complete with all straps, but are starting to fray from use and age. Most original paint is on the cannister, some light rust and patina.  Gas mask is a size 3 with 1941 markings. There is a unit number painted in black. The left  eye lens needs to be replaced,  there are three sealed spare lens in the storage compartment of the cannister. There is a stamped maker's mark and 1942 date in compartment.  The letter D on the bottom denotes it as a water proof can i believe.  The only real issue is that the cannister doesn't seal/sit  properly. I'm pretty sure it can be adjusted to function correctly, I won't adjust or alter this , I'll let the new owner decide that.  Other items pictured are not for sale.    Condition is "Used".
