To my bidders: For years I have done business on eBay using the name: gpstorageco*. The items I will be selling from this point on are being sold from my estate and from the estates of friends and relatives.
This WWII German Luger Holster belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away. He set aside vintage military items over the years. This was one of the items in his German field gear collection and was found in his gun cabinet with some Luger magazines and spare holsters.
This WWII German Luger holster is as found in my friends collection. It is super clean/solid overall and shows light/average wartime use (see photos). There are no stitching issues and the loops, lid, mag pouch and closure strap remain solidly attached (see photos). The leather retains some of it's original sheen and stitching is mostly white (see photos). The small closure strap remains solid with some very light topical flaking and the inner pull-up strap is present & without issue (see photos), The holster body is well marked to the reverse with a lightly stamped waffenamt, the coded maker gcx and the date (1941 - see photos). The interior shows light/average wear and the tool pouch is present/secure to the interior of the lid  (see photos).
Really a super clean serviceable WWII dated German Luger holster. Great opportunity for the German field gear collector or to display with the appropriate pistol. This holster fits any standard German Luger with 4 inch barrel. Very clean piece with serviceable leather.
