    To my bidders: For years I have done business on eBay using the name: gpstorageco*. The items I will be selling from this point on are being sold from my estate and from the estates of friends and relatives.
    This WWII German P38 Shoulder Holster belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away. He set aside vintage military items over the years. This was one of the items in his German field gear collection and was on a Luftwaffe pilot mannequin.
    This WWII German P-38 shoulder holster is as found in my friends collection. It is clean/solid overall and shows minimal/average wartime use (see photos). There are no stitching issues and the straps and loops remain solid (see photos). The leather is pliable but could use a polish (see photos). The holster body is marked to the reverse with the makers name (Carl Kuntze), city (Penig) and the date (1945 - see photos). The interior shows average wear and the Vet stamped his partial service number to the interior (see photos). The holster had a P-38 in it when purchased  but I would expect it to fit many other similar autos. Kuntze made many WWII German issue holsters and accessories. I am unsure if this was made for a German soldier or made at the end of the war for sale to an allied serviceman.
    Really a clean/serviceable WWII dated German P-38 holster. Great opportunity for the German field gear collector or to display with the appropriate pistol. This holster fits any standard German P38. Super piece that is clean & serviceable overall. Carl Kuntze Penig can be researched on Google and some of his holsters are pictured. The last photo in my listing shows a P-38 from my friends collection in the holster - it's not included.
