    Description

    Original German WWII Luftwaffe Navigator Map K.L.Auschwitz Owiecim Monowitz Concentration Camp area one sided "Q51 Gleiwitz" divided into six pieces put on the silk for Luftwaffe pilots.
    Auschwitz Concentration Camp(Konzentrationslager Auschwitz) was founded in 1940 on occupied Polish land, that had been annexed to Germany.The two principal camps were located in Oswiecim (Auschwitz I-Stammlager) and Brzezinka (Auschwitz II-Birkenau),there were also KL Monowitz (Auschwitz III) and other subcamps.
    All information about K.L.Auschiwtz were kept in secret,also people from outside, were forbidden approaching to camp area,so on map there was also no information about existing of the concentration camp.
    Size: 16cmx19cm (when folded),48cm38cm (when fully opened).
    Map was used by german luftwaffe navigators during WW2! Map is one-sided six section fold out.Map was specifically produced for Luftwaffe with denotations and were different from Army maps.Its from silk material to make it stronger. Map has individual number and stamp with words waffen and reich...... dont see exactly. See photo.
